About

There are hundreds if not thousands of free resources available on the web to help site owners build their dream. Whether a blog, magazine, store, top list, directory, classifieds, community, portfolio, banner exchange or other site, there is literally something for everyone. Add to these the growing number of commercial resources and you have variety that is second to none. One thing that most of these resources have in common is duplication, where one blog looks like a hundred others. Enter Adaptive Skins.

Hi, I’m Thomas The Geek. As so many do, I believe in open source and the freedom that comes with free and open software and tools. While flying in the face of large corporate entities who are more than happy to make billions from selling one package over and over, it’s my sincere belief that there is more value to the customer in providing quality support and services, which is also my belief with scripts and templates.

With over 10 years of design experience on the web and many more in dial-up systems going back to the 80’s, I created Adaptive Skins with one goal in mind, helping people realize their dreams. At first my idea was a simple one, to provide customization services to help turn cloned templates into unique web identities, thereby keeping costs down for site owners. However, it quickly became apparent that customization alone would not work. After many years of helping others on a private basis and growing my skills with every twist and turn, I present the total package with a range of core services to help busy web site owners with their online needs.
